Mrs. Eartha Crawford Marshall was born on September 6, 1934, in East Chicago, Indiana. She departed this life on Wednesday, November 10, 2021.
Mrs. Marshall was married for 68 years to Oscar D. Marshall. She was a military wife for 30 years. She travelled the world with her husband and children, retiring in Columbia, South Carolina. She was a salesperson of cosmetics, real estate, and insurance and never met a stranger. She enjoyed keeping up with current events and helping people in the community, especially women and children.
Mrs. Eartha Crawford Marshall leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Oscar Marshall; five children, David Marshall, Alan Marshall, Oscar Marshall, Jr., Lisa Marshall, and Shannon Marshall; two grandchildren, Shar’ron Wilson and Nicholas Palmer; several great-grandchildren; other relatives and caring friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.

My fondest memory of Eartha was her teaching me to read and write which enabled me to enter school early and graduate from high school a year early.
I have always admired and loved her.
