I was so sorry to hear of Mrs. Kearse’s passing. We both taught at Seminole Road Elementary in Richland One in the early 70’s. She was always willing to help in any way that she could. She was witty and had a unique sense of humor. May she rest in peace.
Living in Riverview Terrace, I met Mr. & Mrs. Kearse both so nice and always there for me. Prayers are sent to the Kearse family.

My condolences to the Kearse family in this time of grief. Mrs. Kearse in earlier years was a devoted member of the Columbia Branch of the National Association of University Women. “May she rest in Peace”.
To the Kearse family we send our love, light and prayers to you all. Mrs. Kearse was a very good friend of my mother. She was such a sweet person and had such a kind heart.
Dearest Kearse Family:
Sharing with you in sorrow as you celebrated your Mother
and all that she was to each of you for more than four score years.
As Rev. B. N. Scott rendered a stirring & beautiful eulogy of who she was and whose she was entitled, “She Dared To Be Herself”, with such melodic singing, rendered by the Kearse Family Singers. It was evident that she arrived at her pre-ordained destiny, of eternal rest, ironically, beside her helpmate, Deacon LeVander Kearse, 3 days before his 98th birthday, of Dec.15 , 2023.
I would surmise that on her last day, Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2023, her final thoughts would be the same as her dear LeVander’s back in Aug. of 2021 as I quoted 2 Timothy, 4:7-8 – “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge shall give me at that day.
Mrs. Jeanette Gloria Gadsden Kearse is now resting in the joy of Jesus right beside her loving & devoted husband, Deacon LeVander Kearse.
May you celebrate your many memories of your loving parents who are now, together again!
To God Be The Glory!
