  6. Psalms 27:14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, i say, on the Lord.

I can think of no better passage of scripture which so defines Mrs. Majors. She understood how to wait on the Lord. Yes while waiting she was a wife, choir member, deaconess and neighbor. she fulfilled each role in a most outstanding nanner. She was blessed and because of her, everyone around her was blessed. All of us are eternally grateful for having known her.

Your strength has been renewed, you mount up with wings like eagles: you can run and not get tired: you can walk and not faint. Refenced Isaiah 40:31.

Because you waited on Him, because you served Him, because you were of good courage, now you rest with Him.

We will miss you as a neighbor

Mr. and Mrs. Major were friends of our parents, and Mr. Major sang in a quartet with our father. They lived in walking distance of each other in the Greenview Community. They were always so sweet and kind. Mr. Jim and our father sang in the same quartet group and were lifelong friends in the Greenview Community. We will certainly keep the family in our prayers.
