  5. To my dear Granny: I can’t put into words the way I will always miss you and carry you in my heart. Your infectious laughter and a smile as bright as the sun! Your compassion and love was always palpable to any person who came into your orbit, but no one felt that love like your family. I can’t say that I’m not upset that I won’t hear your laughs anymore as I come running up the steps into the kitchen searching for you to receive the best and most love-filled hugs of my life but I know that you are reunited with Grandaddy and that you both are proud of the legacy you leave behind. I promise to continue to stay informed on the world around me and will check in every now and then and let you know the progress that is being made for US in this world as we continue to move forward in both knowledge and politics. One of the best gifts you and Grandaddy left me was knowing how proud I made you. I could hear it every time we spoke. When I got hired at WIS (which never could have happened without you!) you and Grandaddy were so proud of me and even bragged about me! How I’m going to miss our breakfast talks after my early morning shifts -my favorite still being when Grandaddy danced for us in his Obama hat and we laughed forever! I love you Mary B. This world has truly lost a light but me and Mommy and everyone else will carry this torch in your honor as long we all have breath in our body. I miss you so much already it’s unbearable most days. But I know you wouldn’t want me to stop. I can hear you plain as day telling me, “its okay to mourn, suga. But you gotta keep on keeping on.” I love you so deep, Granny.

  11. We are heartbroken over the passing of our dear precious neighbor of over 45 year, Mrs.Mary Bentley. We offer our deepest condolences and prayers to her children, grandchildren & other family members. She was a loving caring mother & her children’s love for her was immeasurable. I will miss so much our visits & phone calls where we often discussed our “cures” for todays complex issues. Mrs. Bentley was kind, sweet spirited & possessed a smile that would light up a room. She was bright ray of sunshine & a committed Christian & her work speaks volumes. We will sincerely miss her, but look forward to that Great Reunion promised to all believers.Well done my Sister. May she rest in Heavenly Peace ❤️🙏🏾

  13. To the family of Mrs. Mary Bentley. I was so sorry to hear of Mrs. Bentley’s passing. She was a wonderful person and very devoted to her church and church family. What a wonderful usher she was! And a strong supporter of our Sunday School. We did a few Sunday School lesson presentations for Women’s Day. I really enjoyed talking with her. She was always smiling and filled with kind words. She will be missed. Please accept my most sincere condolences. May God be with you and may your memories comfort you during this time.
