This is late, but I’m just finding out about her passing. Ms. Linsdey as we called her was one my mother’s dearest friends. She did my hair as a child as well as my nieces and my daughter. She lived right down the street from us in Higland Park and her stopping by was not uncommon. She will surely be missed. The Scott Family.
Art, I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you will find comfort in the days ahead in your wonderful memories of her. You and your family will be in my prayers.
Anthony and Bernard, you have my deepest condolences in the passing of your mother. She was truly an Amazing Woman.

Rest well Sweet Rose. Just thinking about all the good times we had while I was growing up. You gave me my first real young lady hairdo when I started high school and kept me looking pretty. Remembering all the Sundays you, Anthony and Bernard spent with us. Fun times indeed!
Growing up coming to my Great aunt shop inspired me so much! She was stylish stylist & to this day I took a lot from her! We didn’t spend a lot of time but the times we did I’ll never forget! I got bangles on my arms right now bc of this queen lol ! Sleep in Paradise ❤️

Our sympathy to the family of Dr. Rozell Stephens Lindsay. She will be missed by many but, her essence will be with all of us as evident by remembrance of the wonderful life we shared with her. Dr. Lindsay’s words of wisdom, positive attitude and outstanding ability to bring beauty into our lives will keep her with us in our hearts and minds throughout our lives.
Grateful for Dr. Rozell Lindsay’s love, support and kindness towards us over the years. She soothed and calmed life issues as she washed and styled many clients’ hair. Dr Lindsey even made special access accommodations to allow entry to the disabled in her private shop. May God continue to bless her sons and their seed for generations to come.
