I had the privilege of bringing her little grandkids back from England with me to spend the summer with her back when we were stationed over there. To the many children and entire family of “Mother Ruden Myers”: I have known her for well over 60 years. Our families were very closely connected. She reached out, and included me in her children’s activities although we attended different schools. (I was at Dreher and they were at Keenan.)
In my experience, she was indeed the epitome of motherhood. What a lady! Full of love to share to so many others. She displayed and practiced heartfelt motherhood, to so many more than her biological children. She displayed an unwavering Love for God. Her overall life living spoke for itself. I had the privilege of sharing a great deal of time with her soon after the loss of her husband and later, her son. She shared many God inspired, motherly and life secrets with me that I will forever cherish. As I write this, I am still reeling from the, very recent, loss of my own mom and aunt, now her, all within days of one another. I’m very saddened, but hopeful, to display Gods grace like each one of them. My life is much richer because of them all. Thank you for sharing your very loving, God fearing, sweet, inspiring mom with so many of us. She will never be forgotten. Life just changed again for every one of us. May the peace of God rest, reign and rule in our hearts forevermore!❤️🙏
