  12. Precious Jesus, how we love you and thank you for gifting us with Tracy Gregg Brown, a gentle spirit with a giant heart. I was blessed through her ministry of song and patient teaching the women’s day choir at Zion Mill Creek Baptist Church. Her commitment and passion to her craft were second to none. Enjoyed so many memories, but when she sang You Don’t Know My Story it was a throne room experience every time. To Derrick Brown, Stacy Gregg and your families my prayer is that you will continue to look to hills from whence cometh your help, all your help comes from the Lord. May the joy of the Lord give you strength and peace as your journey continues until we me Tracy again.

  35. Derrick, I am so glad that God united you and Tracy. I vividly recall the day you were married and all the smiles in the sanctuary. Months later, I asked you how you were doing and you said, “I absolutely LOVE being married – being married to Tracy!” What a beautiful blessing! You two have touched so many with your kindness, talents and gifts. You, my beloved, have a very special place in my heart. During the last 9 months, each time I spoke with Trac she lovingly bragged about how WONDERFUL you were treating her. She spoke of how you were such a great husband. Praise God for your loving care! Lee and I are mourning with you and praying for God’s comfort and peace through this trying time. We are just a phone call or visit away.

The thought of going to EE Taylor Elementary School and not seeing her beautiful smile and feeling the love she exuded truly saddens me. The song she posted on her Facebook page, “I Never Lost My Praise” is so befitting! Whenever I sent a note of encouragement she was always thankful and grateful to God. She truly never lost her praise, smile and love.

My deepest condolences to all of us who called her family, friend or co-worker.

  57. I attended Zion Mill Creek for a few years and that is where I heard Tracy’s angelic voice. I hope she knew how much she ministered to people on Sunday mornings. We don’t always understand God’s plan and why things happen the way they do. However, one thing for sure, Tracy knew who held her hand. I really didn’t know her personally, probably never said more than hello, but I’m so heartbroken for her husband and family. May God be with us all.
