  2. I am still lost for words, because l am still in shock finding out the passing of one of the greatest sister-in-laws to ever know. l can’t believe the fact that it seemed as though it was just like yesterday, the last time l spoke to her over the phone, and the next day she was gone here from Earth. Not only do l want to believe it, but l cant, because it is so very too. Vanessa use to make me laugh every time we talked rather over the phone or in person. Always maintained a beautiful home to come to. A great cook. She was just a straight up person with a big heart inside and out. Vanessa made you feel welcome in her presence. Including her smiles that she wore upon her face. Vanessa l am already missing you and l always will. Much love and many prayers going out to the Smalls family. May Vanessa continue to Rest in Peace along with Mr. & Mrs. Smalls.

  10. If I remember correctly, growing up in First Nazareth Baptist Church, Vanessa was the youngest daughter of Deacon & Mrs. Easton Smalls of the Greeview community.

While the God we serve has removed her from our midst, be assured that we can see her again if as our Pastor, (Rev. Blakely N. Scott) says often during eulogies, we have to get our “business fixed ” with our Savior.
May the family & all who knew Vanessa, carry endearing memories of her life here on this side of the Jordan River for the time that she was given.

For everyone of us left behind, remember, our days our numbered.
