Ms. Amanda Ava Soots
Amanda Ava Soots Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we share the news of Amanda Soots’ untimely passing. Her life may have been tragically cut short, but the memories she leaves behind and the positive impact she had on countless lives will forever remain. Amanda had an unwavering love for life, an infectious laughter that could brighten any room, and an insatiable curiosity that propelled her to explore the world around her. From being a salutatorian in high school to pursuing higher education in Nursing at the University of South Carolina, Amanda was driven by her desire to make a difference and help others. Driven by compassion and an understanding that sometimes all it takes is a little empathy and heart to help someone through a rough time; a lacking humanistic attribute we need more of in this world.
Though her pursuits evolved over time—from research to working in the E/R, and finally to esthetics—Amanda’s thirst for knowledge and eagerness to embrace new experiences never waned. She possessed a kind and compassionate soul, always seeking opportunities to assist those in need. Whether it was rallying support for a friend’s family, organizing a donation drive for an underprivileged school, or providing comfort to a friend facing adversity, Amanda consistently showed up for others. Her love for people extended to her beloved dog, Angel, a reminder of her unwavering affection for animals.
During her younger years, Amanda cherished biking adventures with her father and younger brother. She reveled in the joy of watching her little brother conquer the slide and eagerly embraced outdoor exploration at parks and aquariums, and never missing an opportunity to eat strawberries or enjoy the beach with him. Daddy-daughter dates were cherished moments she looked forward to. As she grew older, Amanda’s passion for hair, makeup, and fashion naturally flourished. She adored spending time with friends, indulging in manicures, hairstyling sessions, and hunting for the latest fashion trends.
Amanda leaves behind a grieving yet proud family, including her mother, Lynn Soots, father, Jeff Soots, brother, Jake Soots, Grandmother, Barbara Gaiser, Uncle Mark Gaiser, Nana, Barbara Soots, Papa, Rick Soots, Uncle Nathan Soots, Aunt Mary Soots, Cousin Madison Soots, Cousin Shuana Tenny and Husband Dan Dingus, Cousin Christopher Mioduszewski, and countless others whose lives were touched by Amanda’s presence.
Amanda’s legacy will endure within the hearts of those she touched. Her character and approach toward others serve as a lasting model for all of us—to be compassionate, passionate, selfless, and to embrace the joy of living. Amanda Panda, we love you to the moon and back. Your light will forever shine brightly in our memories.
