Mrs. Arlene Green Davis was born on March 5, 1953. She was the daughter of Ernest Green, Sr. and Doris T. Green. Mrs. Davis passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Prisma Health Baptist Hospital.
Mrs. Davis was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School. She was employed at the South Carolina Department of Mental Health for 35 years. She worked at the University of South Carolina for 28 years, where she was still employed at the time for her passing. Mrs. Davis enjoyed working, shopping, traveling, and spending time with her dog daughter, Tasha.
Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by: her parents, Ernest Green, Sr. and Doris T. Green; six sisters, Roxie L. Berry, Mary Ann Green, Pearl Davis, Ernestine Johnson, Earnestine Green, and Joan Boston; and one brother, Ernest Green, Jr.
Mrs. Arlene Green Davis leaves to mourn her passing and to cherish her precious memory: three sisters, Ms. Carolyn Green, Ms. Marilyn Green, and Ms. Josephine Green; her dog daughter, Tasha; a very special and dear friend, Mr. Willis Lowman; her best friend, Ms. Audrey Mosley, all of Columbia, South Carolina; a host of nephews, nieces, and other loving relatives and friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.
