Ms. Betty Ann Bethea was the daughter of the late Ardouthus Page Sr. and Betty Lou Thompson. Betty was the eldest girl of 10 children, five boys and five girls. She departed this life on Sunday, May 16, 2021 Betty obtained an Associates of Science Degree in Accounting from Florence Darlington Technical College and an Associates of Science Degree in Administration from Central Piedmont Community College, in Charlotte, NC. Betty worked in the banking system for over 15 years with Wells Fargo Bank and First Citizens Bank, where she served as a Mortgage Loan Processor and Loan Operator. Betty finished her tenure of employment with the South Carolina Department of Mental Health and Disability Determination Services where she served as an Administrative Specialist II and an Administrative Clerk. Betty gave her life to Jesus Christ at the youthful age of 14 at Marshill Bibleway Church, Dillon, SC. A year later, Betty answered the call as a Missionary and began working in her local church as a youth missionary. As an active member of Kingdom Harvest Bibleway Church in Charlotte, NC, Betty continued her work as a missionary and served faithfully as a member of the Missionary Department. She also sang in the Women’s and Mass choir at Kingdom Harvest Bibleway Church. Betty moved to Columbia, SC to help with the care of her mother, the late Mother Betty Morgan. Betty joined True Believers church and served as an active member of the TBC Women’s Auxiliary. Betty was preceded in death by: her mother, Betty Morgan and father, Ardouthus Page, Sr; step-father, Bishop Arthur J. Morgan; and four of her siblings, Eugene Page, Sarah Whittington, Emma Jean Page, and Charles Henry Page. Ms. Betty Bethea leaves to cherish her precious memory: three brothers, Ardouthus “R.C.” (Mary) Page, Jr., of Pamplico, SC, Thomas (Martha) Paige, of Columbia, SC, and Andrew J. (Brenda) Paige, Sr.; two sisters, Cora B. Sowell, of Dillon, SC and Mamie Page, of Spartanberg, SC; her godson, James (Deanna) Murphy; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom will miss her.

  15. Sis. Bethea was a beautiful Woman of God that truly loved the Lord. She was a praiser! She was also a good friend of mine. We attended church together here in Charlotte NC and worked together as well. I will truly miss her! Rest on Sis. Bethea. You have been promoted from Labor to Reward!
