  5. To the family of one who always displayed quiet dignity and grace, Dr. Chasity B. Springs as she transitioned to her eternal rest with the Lord..

I’m thinking of London, her daughter who I met by chance at the age of two.

As she & her Mom entered the doors of the church on the Gervais St. side, London always wandered over to the table where Voter Registration was going on and ask in that shy little voice, “can I do that?”
I would say, of course as soon as you turn 3. By then her Mom would say well come on & we will be back. It became our little ritual every Sunday as Chasity, London & I became fast friends
Now as this tall thin young lady, who participated in our summer camp last year, moves forward, we will all surround her as she & the family prepare to .eulogize her dear Mother on Saturday.

We will revere all that we knew and loved about Chasity Springs and remember her as “quiet strength” who left us too soon.

Finally, we know that the God we serve is infinite in His wisdom and makes no mistakes. We will all cherish our many pleasant memories of London s Mother until we see her again!

    To God be the Glory!

  11. To My Dearest Soror,
I know that God has taken you home because on this Earth, you were Angel walking and doing for the Lord in every way. Your ability to find the silver lining in the smallest things. Radiant in all your beauty, you touched many.

Your gifts and talents stretched wider than just academics. If I should remember only one thing, I choose to remember the love you had for your daughter, sorority, family, and for the cause of leaving the world better after you have touched it.

Thank you for walking in grace even when know one else was there to witness it.

Your beloved Sorors of Psi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. will miss you.

To your beloved family and friends l, may each of us stand in the gap that you once closed. To each of them I extend my condolences and sympathy.

Our beloved Soror and sister in Christ, we will miss you.
