Ms. Denise N. Simons

Ms. Denise Simons was born August 8, 1965 in Columbia, South Carolina. She was the youngest child of Joe Louis Sumter and Delorise McLemore Simons. She departed this life on Friday, July 16, 2021. Ms. Simons was educated in the public schools of Richland County South Carolina. She graduated from C. A. Johnson High School. She worked for Lexington Medical Center for 16 years. She was preceded in death by: her parents Joe Louis Sumter and Delorise McLemore Simons; brothers, Otis Simons, Sr., Martin Edwards Simons, and Bernard Simons; and a sister, Diana Simons. Ms. Denise Simons leaves to mourn her passing: a sisters, Delphine (Nathan) Scott, of Columbia, SC and Mary (William) Gilmore, of Rineyville, KY; brothers, Norwood (Roberta) Simons, of Jacksonville, FL; Jerry (Juanita) Simons, of Eastover, SC and Joe Louis Sumter, of Gaston, SC; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and caring friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.
