Our condolences to Dorothy’s children and grandchildren. We will indeed miss our beautiful cousin. Dorothy was wise, loving, compassionate, and had a gentle Christ like spirit. Although our adult life took us in different directions around the world, our family grounding kept us close. I am greatful for the long conversations we shared as I traveled over the highway. Those conversations added to my storehouse of wonderful “Dorothy”memories! I leave this thought with her children and grandchildren:
May God give you strength to bear your loss, and grant His loving comfort, to our family!

  4. In my mind Ms. Dorothy Henderson is a true legend. To this day, I haven’t met anyone who could match her hard work and dedication to UPS. She was one of those people who was the first one to work and the last one to leave. Even when she retired from UPS, she couldn’t seem to really let it go. She would come by and sit in the parking lot to say hello to friends and former co-workers as they were coming to work. You could tell that UPS was a part of her heart and soul. She was a good leader, good teacher, and did her best to set example for me and many others. With that being said, Ms. Dorothy will truly be missed, and my sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew her.

  5. Ms. Dorothy was not only my co-worker, but she was my friend. We both attended the 11 AM service and Brookland Baptist Church and would often sit together during the worship service. Anyone who worked with Ms. Dorothy at UPS knew that she cared about everyone she worked with. She was the ramp “mom/grandma” to many of us making she we had water, fruit and snacks to get us through our shift. Ms. Dorothy loved working at UPS and came to visit even after her health wouldn’t allow her to work any longer. She still checked on us. My heart hurts because they don’t make them like Ms. D anymore and she will be missed. Her gentle heart and sweet spirit made UPS a nice place to be. Your Twilight family is definitely going to miss you Ms. D. Rest in Heaven.
