Rest in peace and the comfort and company of all the Finley family ancestors who have risen before you, including my father, your brother James. 🙏🏾
Sleep in Peace Auntie. Love you forever.
My Dearest Aunt Janie
What can I say about our last Matriarch of our Elders…..You were One Of A Kind! A Class Act, A Confidant and A Woman With Lots Of Wisdom. Anyone who sat in your presence and had a conversation with you most certainly gained an earful of knowledge about life and how to enjoy it…and when you got up you felt like you could challenge the world….Thats the affect she (Janie) had on you😘 I’m going to miss you but You completed your task here and now it’s time to take your place in Gods kingdom. Job Well Done Aunt Janie. Say hello to mommy (Anna Mae) for me.
Love, Your Niece Roz❤️🙏

My Dear Aunt Janie, I will miss you and there will definitely be a void in my life. Through the years you have given so much of yourself in the way of teaching, explaining life many experiences with your wisdom. Just your warmth, smile and love that you shared always made me feel like a daughter rather than a niece. Always having the right thing to say for any given situation was something that seemed like second nature to you. Even a stranger experienced the friendship and caring you bestowed upon them. It wasn’t always what you said but truly more of how you made someone feel. You made this earth a better place to live life! Rest in peace and continue to spread your love! Love you forever!

Fly with the angels. Love Always JoAnn Rienzie
Aunt Janie,
You will always be in my heart as now I know that you and Mil are together now for eternity. I’ll always remember our times with and the entire Rienzie family for Thanksgiving and Christmas, bowling or just hanging out with Gail and Teri growing up from children to adulthood you were always there. I’ll always remember until the day I leave here when you’d call me when I’d get smart; “OK Miss Nice Nasty”. Love you forever
Grandma, you will truly be missed. Prayers to my best friend Mercedes and the entire family. Thank you for your loving care ❤️. I promise to keep Mercedes together forever. I’m actually in the mist of blowing her phone up as I’m typing this and she is ignoring me Grandma. Love you and get your rest.
RIp Aunt Janie
You were always so warm and inviting; direct, yet fun and full of love. I will always think of you. I love you. Rest well Aunt Jannie.
Sending our deepest sympathy and condolences and prayers to the family and relatives.
Grandma…my baby…my girl…my partner in crime and all things “In the Heat of the Night”, “Matlock”, “Golden Girls”, and “The Steve Harvey Show”,
I miss you so much. I am forever thankful for what you & grandpa did for us. Bringing us down south changed the course of our lives & future generations of your bloodline. Well into your retirement you took on a huge task and that love and exposure helped mold me into the woman I am today. I pray I made you proud. You taught me so many things about love, sisterhood, sacrifice, motherhood, and what true feminine power looks like. Most importantly [Grandma] you were a good time. I can hear your laugh as I type this. It hurts but it’s also comforting. You were happy and loved life.
I’ll be sure to keep an emery board in my “handbag” at all time!! Kiss my granddaddy and Larry for me. I know you already hit the bid whist table up with grandpa!! I love you lady!!
Oh my! It seems as though it was just yesterday when you and I were sitting in the stair steps of Melonys home during her baby shower. You gave me some words of wisdom and encouragement. You are such a sweet Auntie. I will never forget those fond memories Aunt Janie, I will forever hold dear to them. You were truly loved. Rest easy Auntie…. You’re alright now!
My condolences to the entire Family.
