  1. Dear Mama Jo…….
May the work I do; speak for me, as God is well pleased with yours. Service and your Life. Thanks for being such a great Aunt and sister to my mom. Rest on Mama Jo! Until we meet on the other side. Thanks for letting your job go to keep my baby; who is now 37 years old. Our family is greater because of your understanding nature and love.

  4. It was such a joy to be in the presence of Mama Jo. Each time I visited Brown Chapel AMEC, she was among the beautiful persons that greeted me. Her presence will surely be missed. She was present at many events around Columbia also. God has called an angel home. Blessed be the name of the Lord.

  9. Sincere condolences are extended to the family and friends of my fellow Washingtonian Josephine Hall. My life has been enriched by this godly woman. It was my good fortune to serve with her on Board of Directors of Booker T Washington High School Foundation. ( Many foud memories of BTW Heritage Weekend Celebrations.) I was also blessed to worship with her during the Willing Workers Usher Board Unions and other church programs. I also loved her poetry. A gifted , loving, caring woman. May she rest in peace.
