Mrs.Lavern was a second mom to my sister, brother &I.
She raised us like we were her own, for over 30 years we lived, loved and learned from her.Words can’t express how much you’ll be missed💕. Thank you for being such an instrumental part of our lives. Rest well until we meet again.💕Kenneva, Necie & Buck💕
Ms. Laverne and my grandma shared a friendship that spanned over 30 years. She played a vital role in raising my mom and her siblings. In fact, I was named Ladrea after this remarkable woman. Ms. Laverne was sharp, fierce, and full of love. I am incredibly proud to carry on her legacy, and she will be deeply missed. Rest well, my namesake.
Our deepest condolences to Ms. Laverne’s family. We met her when we came from Georgia visiting our cousin, Bessie Johnson. We heard a lot of funny stories about those two. Now prayerfully they are both resting in the arms of the Lord.
WE GOT TO KNOW MS. LAVERNE THROUGH MA BESS(BESSIE JOHNSON). THEY WERE INSEPARABLE, USUALLY WHEN WE VISITED MA BESS WE VISITED HER. SHE WAS A QUIET SPIRIT. VERY WELL LIKED. I PRAY THEY ARE TOGETHER AGAIN DRIVING AROUND HEAVEN, LOL. TO BE ABSENT FROM THE BODY IS TO BE PRESENT WITH THE LORD. OUR DEEPEST HEARTFELT CONDOLENCES TO THE HARRIS FAMILY.
My deepest condolences is extended to the entire family of Ms. Laverne. She was such a pleasant and thoughtful woman of God. I will always remember her kindness to my Godmother– The late Mrs. Bessie Johnson. They were the best of friends. I Love you Ms. LaVerne, soar with the Angels. You are missed. 💔💔🕊🕊
Remembering Your Loved One
Like the sunrise that comes each morning,
dispelling the darkness and warming our lives,
may good memories and eternal love light your way through this time.
Psalm 147:3 ESV
He heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds.
