  5. Ms. Green as I called her, you will definitely be missed. The impact that you had on the students at Lewis Greenview elementary was awesome!!! Anytime a student acted out all we had to say was you want me to call Ms. Green? I often think about our conversation about us being in the top 3 subs at Lewis Greenview and your comment was well Mrs. Sellers you must be number 2 or 3, because I’m number one. And that you was, I never took that away from you. And my response was well Ms. Green it doesn’t matter long as I’m one of the top 3. Our remember our lunch the school provided for us for substitute day 2021. You talked about how we as subs need to request for a pay raise. And we would perform a committee after the holidays. I remember working with you after Thanksgiving break in Ms. Dowdy’s class and I forgot my lunch. Unselfishly you shared yours with me. The only catch was I had to warm it up, go to vending machine for you a soda and to drop something off at the school’s nurse office. I worked for that food-lol. You will be definitely missed but most of all you will always be remembered.

  6. Leslie aka Buck will be missed. We first met when we song together on the Interdenominational Concert Choir (ICC), then I had the pleasure of working with her on a couple of fashion shows for the youth of the Gethsema e, and then I got the chance to laugh and talk with her at Greenview Elementary. She would take my neice in the school with her before the doors would open so that I can get to my school. She had an infectious smile, the work ethic of a horse, and was definitely a Diva. You could never shake her faith in God and there was no one closer to her heart than her daughter Ashley. I thank God for the time I spent with such a beautiful person.

  7. To the Green family, we the Moore family express our deepest condolences to you during this time. Green was like a mother to my wife and I and a grandmother to our daughters Aron and Amiya. Working with her at Greenview made everyday easier! I adorned her spirit and admired her tenacity to fight for what she believed. She spent so many days caring for us and making sure we celebrated everything with all our hearts! As I would always call her MY GIRL..I’m going to miss our late night chats, texts throughout the day, and the ways she told me to do exactly what she would do. Since being in Columbia for the past 15 years, I can say Leslie was the best friend I could have met and allowed my family to grow with. Ashley we are here and will forever cherish you and your Mother’s love!

  8. To the Green family, Mary, Leslie Darryl, other family members and dear friends, this condolences is from the Mitchem family of the Central Baptist Church.
Leslie was an Earthly Angel shared with us for a special reason. Leslie was ” L O V E “.
Leslie took great care with the Central Baptist Church youth choir as the spiritual director and the youth second nurturing mother, when ever the youth choir was rehearsaling or gatherings. Leslie was present at every rehearsal, with a smile a d hugs and her reassurances that your child would be taken care of and safe left in her care and supervision. My daughter Auntae Mitchem, loved being at the youth choir rehearsals and she loved the gentle love Leslie gave to the youth. Leslie was so patient with everyone.
Mary and I was in the former Central Baptist Church Willing Workers auxiliary and we shared so many memories.
Leslie the late Deacon Morris L. Mitchem, Sr. Loved you. He loved Leslie leadership and smile.
Leslie was dearly loved by the Mitchem family.
Leslie take your rest as you are now in your eternal Home.
    Much love
    Deaconess Shirley Mitchem Palmer and
    Auntae Mitchem Robinson

I remember when I wanted to move out yo and Mary welcomed me in your home , got me the job at Service Merchandise and helped me like I was your own and I appreciate that . I remember the last time I saw you in Wal Mart you made sure you told my Husband ‘that’s my girl you know she use to stay with me’ and you just smiled. God was reedy for you and he dispatched his Angels to bring you home. I appreciate you for being who you are. Mary Ashley Daryl and Courtney you are in my prayers. 15. Heaven truly gained and irreplaceable ANGEL!!! My heart is broken Cousin Leslie. The times we shared will forever be embedded in my heart. You were the kindest person that spoke your mind and still showed LOVE. You always found the good in any situation and always turned lemons into lemonade. The love that you had for my children has left an impact on them because they have been asking to call you. I remember having to stand up for you at the hospital when you didn’t have the strength to do it. I loved how you loved the Lord and ensured that we knew Him at an army age. This is not goodbye because my heart won’t let me say that, but so long and I will see you one day in Heaven.

  26. My Deepest Condolences To My Cousin Ashley, Mrs. Mary And The Entire Green Family. Sitting Here Remembering The Good And Bad Times That I Have Experienced With Buck. As A Child, Buck Used To Babysit Me And My Cousins. She Thought Us How To Drive And Took Us Places That We Had To Go. The Love She Had For Me Was Unconditional, So That Is Why I Chose Her As My Son God-Mother. My Son Was Never Without Anything Because Of Her. She Helped Me Raised Him To The Young Man That He Is Today. I Don’t Know How I Am Going To Get Through Not Seeing You Around Or Hearing Your Voice. But I Know One Day I Will See You Again. Because You Was A Child Of God And I Am Too. The Love You Had For All Of Us Will Never Be Forgotten. Buck, I Am Not Okay With This. I Am Truly Going To Miss You. You Are Not In Any Pain Right Now. Get Your Rest And Fly High. Your Assignment On Earth Have Been Completed. You Did And Awesome Job. I Will Continue To Have Ashley’s Back. We Will Forever Have Love In Our Heart For You. God Have Gained A True Angel…Keep Watching Over Us❤😇 I Love You Leslie
