God has gotten another angel. Ms. Greaves was very kind, loving , caring and funny from the moment I met her. It was a pleasure crossing paths with her.

Sad to hear of her passing, but I know she is in a better place and not in pain. My husband Craig and I lived in her home back in Brooklyn in the apartment downstairs for 11 years. Our daughters Kyla and Katrina were born there. I am forever grateful for the love and support she gave us. S.I.P. Aunt ‘Cil
To our entire family and friends; we are deeply saddened at the loss of our dear Aunt ‘Cil. A true New Yorker at heart, with attitude and a spunky sense of humor “to boot”. You did not want to “cross” Aunt Cil. Boy, she would let you have it! But she really was a softy at heart. I have fond memories of living with you and Uncle Leon in Brooklyn with Kregg, Francine and Kyla back in the day. And after coming home from a long day of work at the hospital, you made sure we watched Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune with you – a fan for more than 50 years. You were so smart that you would have been a top contestant on both shows. I recall so fondly, my many trips to the corner market in Brooklyn, and you making our favorite meal; fish with olive oil, onions and squash; yum-nobody could make it like you. I miss all of us making breakfast and cooking Thanksgiving dinner with the family in New York as Uncle John D helped with decorations and crooned to Curtis Mayfield’s song “It’s Alright”…Lawd-Ham-Murci! Uncle John D would say, “Oh, that sounds so good.” This reminiscence makes tears well up in my heart and eyes. We’re all missing you Aunt ‘Cil and love you so much. I will never forget spending girls’ nights with you in later years. You wanted me to spend nights with you and I’m so glad I did. I’m so happy you got to meet my husband, kids and grandkids. What a blessing. We’re are also grateful for all of the family who cared for you in your final days, who also love and will miss you deeply. Rest In Peace Sweetie Pie. Your niece, Benita, my husband and family.
Ms. C, you slipped away peacefully. I have known you for 10 glorious years. I enjoyed the journey. You were such a wonderful and loving person. Ms. C, I miss you and I will love you always. When you were good, I was good, when you were not good, I wasn’t either. We were like mother and daughter. You told me that you were tired. Please watch over me because my heart is heavy. RIP Ms. C
My dearest LadyBug, may you S.I.P. I will never forget you or our time together. I am going to miss our talks and hearing your voice as you sing. I will remember all the things you shared and taught me over the years. My prayers and condolences to the family and everyone she touched over her life of longevity.
