Today I attended the Funeral Service of my Dear Aunt Lucy Hall Gainey. She was truly a blessing in my life. Her beautiful smiles and warm conversations I will miss dearly. From since I could remember as a child she would always embrace me with hugs made of Love. My memories I will always cherish close to my heart.
My deepest condolences to the entire Gainey family. My prayers and thoughts are with you all. May God keep you strong and united through this tough time
My condolences to the family. Mrs. Gainey was very kind and humble. Always had the prettiest smile on her face when she approached you. She will truly be missed. It was a pleasure to have met her during my time in Columbia.
Words are never enough to express how you feel when someone you love is no longer here. Aunt Lucy was an anchor for so many, and extremely patient with us all. She will be missed.

My Aunt Lucy H Gainey was very special. She always kept her promises. She baked my favorite coconut cake for my birthday this year and mailed it to me. I miss her and will forever cherish the memories of our time spent together as well as the conversations we shared. R.I.P. Auntie, I Love You.

I will truly miss Lucy. one of the trio of my very best friends, We were a family together . We were friends for more than 40 years. We talked, laughed, and cried together many times. We shared so much about our families and the adventures we had together. She was kind hearted, compassionate, dependable and faithful. Her family was her pride and joy. I met Lucy a few years back at a spa but meeting her was a lasting impression of a refined being, one you can’t forget. During this time of sadness for the Hall and Gainey family, we thought you all might like to know how much Lucy meant to us as a class mate: she was Smart, witty, always smiling, just had a beautiful disposition, exuded love and caring spirit. We know you have many of Lucy, which are indeed precious. We thank God with you for Lucy life of goodness and down-to-earth faith. And we share the sense of missing her that you surely feel. Mrs. Gainey was the epitome of class, grace, elegance, and kindness. She loved Christ, her family, and her friends. What an amazing mother she was for her children ~ she was the pillar of the Gainey family, a woman & mother well loved & cherished. She always knew her purpose & assignment to serve her Heavenly Father & guide her children/grandchildren. I will forever carry her in my heart as Momma G~ She is with her husband & sweet Lisa now, rest well.
