Ms. Rebecca Tyson was born on September 6, 1938 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Mary Madeline Jackson and Henry Perry Tyson. She departed this life on Tuesday, November 9, 2021.
Ms. Tyson attended the Philadelphia Girls High School. She also attended Health You Care, to obtain her certification, as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was gainfully employed with Ashton Hall Nursing Home, until her retirement. Rebecca loved sightseeing, shopping, listening to music, and going to dinner. She enjoyed life and helping others.
Ms. Rebecca Tyson leaves to cherish her memory: three children, James H. (Lugina) Tyson, Sr., Renee L. Tyson, and Sabrina Tyson; two grandsons, James H. (Monique) Tyson, Jr., of Jacksonville, FL and Jerome C. (Monique) Tyson, of Detroit, MI; five great-granddaughters, Autumn, Karley, Jada, Jordan, and Tamia; four great-grandsons, Ashton, James, III, Jayden, Jr., and Jerome, Jr.; her best friend, Mrs. Martha Newson, of Philadelphia, PA; two close family friends, Suzy Elby and Donna Chapman; along with a host of other relatives and friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.
