  1. I am just seeing this. Mrs. Washington was my first grade teacher at Carver Elementary School. I always adored her and talk about even today. She the most beautiful and kind teacher that I haven’t never forgotten. Mrs.Washington, admired my handwriting, that she had me and another classmate, copy something ( remember) in our handwriting to go to the museum. Begin so young I don’t whatever became of it. Get your rest Mrs.Washington. You will be missed but not forgotten. Carolyn Brown when I was in your class.

  2. My deepest condolences to you Robin and your family. It was a great pleasure seeing your Mother over the years, however brief our encounters. You are so fortunate to have had such a loving and amazing mother! And for your boys to have such an amazing grandmother. May you find comfort in your memories and those around you. Love and hugs. ~Rebecca

  3. To the adult children of Vivian & my NAACP partner, Frank B. Washington (as your names were spoken often in my presence):

I express sincere condolences to you at a time such as this.

May you be comforted during this period of bereavement as both of your parents lived, long & productive lives as they contributed in their special ways to society in their noble professions.

As these two BTW Washingtonians join each other once again, they can now “Sing a song of glory, a song of work and fun”… for our Booker Washington!

Take your rest eternally with our loving Savior!
