  14. My dearest Rod,
Words can not describe the pain and the void that I feel. We met 34 years ago and instantly became friends. A bond, a connection that NEVER waivered. We were always very transparent with each other and allowed each other to live without judgment. I think that was the beauty in our relationship, No judgment! This last year and few months were incredible. We grew closer, we shared the same vision, we wanted the same for our children. We wanted to spend our remaining years together, at peace. The selfish part of me is asking why? Why did this happen? We were so close to our goal, our plans, our forever.
I guess God’s plan was more important than ours. He has the final say and you were called home to take your place in his house. I ask that while your sitting high, please help me to understand, please continue to watch over your children, me, Madison, your mom, our families and friends. Please help to ease my pain! Please guide me on what to do.
    I MISS YOU SO..I LOVE YOU SO…
    Your fiancΓ©e,
    Ronda

  15. For over 30 years you have been my brother and I your sister. If they know you then they also know about me and vice versa. We have stuck by each other’s side like glue during all this time. You are my daughter Mesha’s Godfather and loved to tell the world that you saw her first even before I did.πŸ™„ How am I supposed to live in this crazy life without my brother? Who will I constantly go eat with now? I have ALWAYS been my brother’s keeper and that will NEVER change. I promise to hold ALL of your children near and dear to my heart!! I LOVE YOU BROTHER!! I am heartbroken and devastated by your passing but I know that favor isn’t fair. Rest easy and in Heavenly Peace Rod. I will mourn you until I join you and I will celebrate your life for the rest of my life! Life will forever be incomplete without youπŸ’”πŸ™πŸΎ I know Pokie and my sister Arial welcomed you into Heaven and you three are enjoying the best seafood that Heaven has ever received!!😭😭

Please accept special thoughts & care of all of you at a time such as this.

Remember meeting Rod as a youngster years ago, who was a contemporary of my nephew, Anthony.

It is becoming more common than ever to “lay to rest ” our children and that tugs at your heart string, I know.

As you are comforted by all of the memories of Rod, know that the God we serve “got you”. Just let go & let God!
Thinking of you prayerfully throughout this period and beyond.
May he rest in the joy of Jesus!
