  5. Uncle Earnest will truly be missed!! We will always remember the summer of 1967 when he cut our watermelon plants with the lawnmower!! I was so proud to have the opportunity to reenlist you when I was a first lieutenant stationed at Fort Hood, TX. You always set the standard for others to follow. Rest well CSM (Uncle) Earnest Haynes! Love your niece Debbie “Rosser” Brown

  11. It saddens me to learn of the passing of CSM Earnest Merle Haynes Sr. Please accept my sincere condolences on behalf of the entire NCO Corps and especially my family. It is true that we have sustained a great loss by his passing. However, we believe that greatest tribute to his memory will be keeping the faith and staying true to God’s word. Scripture tells us…It is the same way for the resurrection of the dead. Our earthly bodies, which die and decay, will be different when we are resurrected, for they will never die. Our bodies now disappoint us, but when they are raised, they will be full of glory. They are weak now, but when they are raised, they will be full of power. They are natural human bodies now, but when they are raised, they will be spiritual bodies. For just as there are natural bodies, so also there are spiritual bodies. Flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. These perishable bodies of ours are not able to live forever. I Corinthians 15:42-45, 50 NLV.
