   Gene was a great all around guy. Smart beyond smart! I was a student of his at USC’s IH program. He was a heckuva second baseman too for our softball team. One cannot begin to count the many contributions he made to the fields of OEHS.

   Gene earned a great reputation for direct insightful analysis often delivered with his own special dry wit.

   A respected professor and researcher, he was also a great family man: a terrific dad and loving husband.
