Dr. Bodison was all four of my children’s pediatrician with my oldest being 23 years old. He had a great spirit and was a joy to be around. My family and I are saddened by the news of his passing. My deepest prayers and condolences to his family.
My heart is heavy and confused at the news recieved. It pours out nothing but mercy and grace to Dr. Bodison. Prayers from our family goes to him for peace, honor, love, and gratitude. To have an opportunity for my babies to be cared for by such an understanding and attentive man is truly a virtue. At this time we send our love and hold our selfishness for we have him no longer. Not only did i perceive his care for my kids as love. He showed me a black woman love in his gentle and holistic practice. This saddens us as we understand that the standard of care he upheld is not replaceable. Much love from my family to you all. May his memories and practice style flow like eternal life and flowing waters threw offices communities and healthcare. Much love.
I met Dan in Orangeburg as we were both members of the Orangeburg Gospel Choral Union, an affiliate of the National Convention Of Gospel Choirs and Choruses. He stopped in when he could and always had a smiling face. We will miss his sweet and kind demeanor. We thank God for the memories.

Although I had not known Dr. Bodison for a long time, the time we shared serving at Sterling Sharpe Pediatrics was truly meaningful. It was an absolute pleasure and an honor to have worked with and served under Dr. Bodison. His genuine spirit, kindness, and presence made a lasting impression on me.
I am grateful for the opportunity to have known and worked alongside such a wonderful person. My thoughts and prayers are with the Bodison family and all those who loved him during this difficult time.

There will be an emptiness on 3rd Sundays; you were an awesome musician for the Rehoboth Baptist Church Male Choir! You assisted with other choirs when needed without hesitation. You and my husband Deacon Ronald Willis had such a great relationship. I’ll miss you calling me the Male Choir Cheerleader! Because you knew I was going to cheer you all on anytime, I was in the place. Your soft smile, anointed voice and gifted musical hands will surely be missed. JOB WELL DONE- take your rest!!

Dr. Bodison was such a kind and caring man and an awesome doctor. Many years ago, my two sons were his patients, and I will always remember the kindness he showed them and our family.
I had the pleasure of seeing him several years later, and he still had that same sweet spirit and warm heart. He was truly a special person who made a lasting impression on me and will always hold a special place in my heart. ❤️

My sincere condolences to the family of Dr. Bodison. I meet Dr. Bodison in early 2000 when I worked in Health Information at Baptist Hospital. He was always kind and pleasant. I teased him about the geechie talk and he new some people I knew from Walterboro. It was always a pleasure to assist him when he came to complete his charts. Family we serve an awesome God that makes no mistakes. Praying for your strength.
