  3. Our condolences to the Givens family. Deacon Givens will be greatly missed. He served well; fought a good fight; and kept the faith. May God’s strength and peace be with you all during this difficult time.

  4. Deacon Givens was a great man. Many, many times he looked out for us when Earl was working or on military duty when our girls were younger. He was a godfather for our daughters. He introduced me to his mother and we spent many Sundays after church at Mother Givens’ house. We have great memories of time spent with Deacon Givens and Sister Gladys (and riding in the grand marquis). What a blessing it is to have had him in our lives. We love you Deacon Givens.
