  3. I remember meeting Pops and Mrs.V many years ago in Winslow. As I walked into their home, I instantly felt welcomed. The laughter in the room was infectious. It was like meeting a favorite Uncle and Auntie.

Pop’s asked me you ever had Bulbogi? I said no sir. With a loving smile showing all thirty two teeth. Pops said girllll I’m about to hook you up. Mrs.V gently nudged me while popping her fingers to the latest tunes and said you gonna like it baby. Let’s just say my husband and I became honary family members from that day forward. Pops and Mrs.V were always together. Though we’re sadden by Pops passing. We take comfort in knowing Pops and Mrs.V are back together again laughing and cutting up. We extend to the entire family our heartfelt condolences. May our Lord comfort you and your loved ones. In this tough time in your life, may our friendship, sympathy and heartfelt condolences bring you comfort. We love you guys.

  4. I was sad the day I heard of your passing. I am sad today knowing that I won’t see or hear from you. I will be sad the day they lower you into the ground. I am blessed to have had you as my brother. I am thankful for the times we shared as sister and brother together.

  6. It seems as though nothing can prepare you for death. And yet when I heard of your illness, I tried to get ready. I prayed and I prayed. I know this is God’s will. I’m going to miss our talks Big Bro. I’m even going to miss you calling me ugly. LOL I’m so glad we all had one last chance to get together a couple of months ago. You were always a constant support and will always be one of my heroes. Thank you for being you. I love you and will miss you dearly.

  8. We share our deepest condolences to the Valentine family during this difficult time. There are vivid memories of my first cousin, Al Lawrence (as we always called him). With his raspy, deep voice he always had a gentle and kind smile and generous spirit. Our continued prayers are with the family. And thank you for your dedicated military service.
