  1. We just found out that Bobby passed away. He usually called about every two weeks to check in, but we had not heard from him in a while. Bobby did yard work and odd jobs for us in Elmwood Park for many years. He was always in good spirits and his presence always brightened our day. He was meticulous in his work and took his time to make things right. When he finished, he would almost always proudly say “Looks good, doesn’t it” and we would reply “It sure does”. We’re going to miss you, Bobby.

  2. Bobby was a kind generous soul. We had known him over 20 years and will miss him greatly. He would come by on his bicycle often just to say hello, but also helped us with many projects over the many years. He was a bright spirit and a welcomed site in the Earlewood community. Prayers and condolences to the family.

  3. I was so saddened to learn of Bobby’s passing. It was always a pleasant surprise to see Bobby make his way through our Earlewood neighborhood on his bike – always stopping by for a chat and to see if his help was needed on any outdoor project. And no job was too big or too small and always done to his perfecting standards. But most important was getting to see his contagious smile and learn of his wide open, generous heart and most kind spirit. I am a better person for having known Bobby over the years and will try to live by the generosity of spirit he shared with me and so many others. Rest in peace my friend and know you will not be forgotten.

  5. I’ve known Bobby for over 30 years. He was one of the first people I met when I bought my home in Earlewood and was so helpful and sweet. We had many front porch talks about football , biking around Columbia and neighbors. I’m so sad to learn of his passing. He will be missed.
