I met Bruce when he sold me my first home in Folkstone! My heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Bruce. May his memory be forever with you. Take your rest my friend, take your rest!
Our Heartfelt condolences to the Bruce Family. We met Bruce during the 1990’s. He managed some rental properties we own. Through the years he became a trusted friend and advisor. Kindness and respect for others was something I witnessed during those years we knew him. He will truly be missed. Our prayers to the family. We pray God will keep you strong during one of the most difficult times in life.

Your spirit remains under summer’s wide sky.
To your children, your siblings, your nieces and kin,
There’s a quiet ache where your presence has been.
A father, a brother, an uncle, a friend—

From December’s glad welcome to July’s solemn rest,

I would like to send my prayers and condolences to the family of Mr. Bruce Hook. He was a great man and one who had a great personality. I met Bruce back in the 1980’s during my waitressing years at Belk downtown. Plantation Dining Room. He was one of my regular customers. Also would see him at Central Baptist Church years ago. He will be missed. RIP Bruce.

Our brother by another mother. Bruce was best friends with my two late younger brothers. There was a cadré of those guys in the old days (1960s) in Orangeburg. Rest in peace, Bruce — look forward to seeing you guys on the other side. Blessings be upon those of us for comfort to bear this present grief.

Deep condolences and sympathy to the Hooks family. Bruce was a great man. He was our Realtor and he covered our house while we were stationed abroad. He also was a great supporter of the MORE Justice Ministry for Rehoboth Baptist Church plus 26 other Churches collaborating the community. We would often run into each other our eating.
