It was always a pleasure to have Deacon Rodgers drive the bus for field trips for my class when I was a teacher at Saint John Preschool. Before COVID I would often see him when Saint John would visit our church during revival. My prayers and condolences 🙏🏾 to the family.
Deacon Rodgers always greeted me with a hug and a smile and I’m thankful that I was able to be a member of his Family Ministry Unit at Saint John. Sending my deepest condolences to the Rodgers family – I am praying for your comfort and strength.

My encounters with Deacon Carl Rodgers were edifying and pleasant. I observed his authenticity, sincerity and tried and true love, trust and faith in God were unwavering. He was always encouraging and intentional about expressing his appreciation and support for me and the ministry he saw God enabled me to do. Deacon Rodgers will be missed and we shall meet again in the hereafter, in a better world.

My deepest condolences goes out to the Rodgers family. Especially, for my friend/mentor/brother in the ministry Victor, his wife Tiffany & my goddaughter Destiny. Deacon Rodgers was very humble gentleman & humble servant. He was always very friendly and offered you advice whenever you come into his presence. He was someone showed great leadership during my 21 years at St. John Baptist Church. He often reminded me of my late father in terms making that you were okay. Deacon Rodgers you will be sorely missed my friend. May rest peacefully within God’s Heavenly Kingdom.
