  6. Know that Darryl is no longer suffering, No More Pain. He has gained his wings with the Lord. Up there with your brother – :Polecat”. We all grew up in Hendley Homes, attended A C Moore & Olympia Middle. We all were very close knit, everyone knew each other parents. Those were the good ole days. RIP Darryl, Gone But Not Forgotten!

  7. So,so very sorry to hear of the loss of Darryl. His mother and I met at the USC College of Nursing in 1975. She had a son named Darryl and so did I ! We became friends until her untimely passing during the pandemic, and I cried because I was unable to attend her home going. It felt like I had lost not only a bestie, but my favorite sister! Darryl was a young teen when we first met,and as I remember an outstanding student athlete.
My sincerest condolences to Millicent and Cassandra and the extended family and friends. May you all take comfort in knowing he is with his mother and brothers. May God keep you all and grant you peace.๐ŸŒน

  10. Sending my Sincerest Condolences to the entire family of Darryl aka Pole Cat Robinson. He will truly be missed. We attended Olympia Middle School and AC Flora HS riding the same bus. Met Pole Cat when we moved to Hendley Homes, hanging out at the Center, the Basketball court and Infamous Wall. I will definitely miss seeing/talking to him on the corner of N. Main and Prescott Rd. If Darryl was your friend, you had a friend for life. Bro you will truly be missed, but, never forgotten. No more pain and suffering, get your rest my Brother. You got a few Homies waiting on you at the Gates of Heaven. SIP/RIH

  11. It is with my deepest condolences on the loss of my friend, teammate and Classmate Darryl “Pole Kat” Robinson (A.C.Flora High School). I have such fond memories of him from on and off the football field…as he was an outstanding athlete! I recently saw him at a stop light off of North Main street, here in Columbia. When I got out of the car we both hugged each like we their was no tomorrow….we talked, high five each other and shared a few tears, along with a prayer! His last words to me was….”My Quarterback…Thanks for being my classmate and most importantly, my friend”! RIP My Brother…..
