  1. I had the honor and privilege of knowing and working with Dave for 35 years at two different companies in the photo industry. He was one of the kindest people I know and my life was better because of knowing him. His technical skills were through the roof and his calm and confident approach always put customers at ease. Dave and I grew up not far from each other but in ways very far apart. He taught me new ways of seeing things in life based on his experiences that were very different than mine. Those lessons have served me well and I am grateful he shared those with me. I have some really funny memories that are too long to easily share here. Instead I will just say Dave had a quick smile and a great sense of humor. He was one of the great people I’ve encountered in life and he will be remembered and missed. My condolences to his family and his many friends. Rest well my friend.
