My condolences to Ms. Mary
and the family. I will miss Francis. He was very active at St.Lukes Episcopal Church. He would fill in for me, but fussed first.
The last time I saw you was in 2019 and something told me to snap a photo of us both together and I did just that. I remember back in the day I would see you at Bolden stadium because that was our home stadium. I would look up in the stands as I was cheering for our team, you would be booing and talking trash Lol. You were the fun uncle!
RiP uncle Frank ππΏ
Mrs. Mary Goodwin: Stay strong; youβre in my thoughts and prayers. Friend Claire Porter, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority.
The words to express the passing of Frank seem so challenging to express. We had many rounds of disagreement, but all in love. My Brother-In-Love, Brother, Father, Friend. Many times I would ring the door bell and there he was blocking my entrΓ©e , calling me to cook many of his favorite dishes, which he was not suppose to be eating any way. . My hope was having seen him go through so much, I believe that God had done it before , he would do it again. This time Frances made the choice to rest. Will miss him dearly .
For my Favorite Uncle: I have so many memories of the times we spent together, and even though you’re no longer here, I’ll cherish them forever. I’ll miss your laughter so much and the mischief in your smile. When I feel the sadness welling up I’ll remember it a while. For though you are no longer here, You’ll never be truly gone. So long as I have these memories, Your spirit will carry on. So until I see your smile again, I’ll hold you in my heart and mind. A shinning example, my Uncle of the best of humankind. RIP My Favorite Uncle!
My heartfelt condolences to my friend Mrs. Mary Goodwin and family. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Francis was the first parishioner I met on a Sunday morning at St. Luke’s several years ago while on a trip from home in Maryland to visit my brother and sister-in-law. Because of his welcoming spirit, I felt right at home. I looked forward on subsequent trips to seeing him again. What a jewel of a man! My heart goes out to his family, friends, and parish. While I grieve with you, I also am grateful that our lives crossed, if only briefly. God welcome him to another shore and greater light.
May God’s perfect peace comfort you during your time of bereavement.
Our deepest condolences to the family love Benjamin and Karen Adams

On behalf of the members of St.Luke’s Episcopal Church we extend our condolences to Mrs. Mary Goodwin and other family members. Francis was a faithful and devoted member of St Luke’s Episcopal Church and didn’t miss a Sunday. Francis had a very strong and outgoing personality, he told us what was on his mind and we still loved him and listened to him. Francis was very active in the church, he was the only man on the Altar Guild and was very proud of it,he didn’t miss a meeting and did his part and didn’t mind filling in for others. We will truly miss him ,with his larger than personality.
