  5. Deacon Williams I just don’t know how to put into words the appreciation I have for you and Mrs. Rudine. Never saw you down always helping at church or accompanied Mrs. Rudine on her outings and always smiling. I am forever grateful for you as I can’t remember a memory at Union Baptist that you are not a part of. Love you.

  7. I was fortunate to be able to hire Herbert at DSS when he retired from the Social Security Administration. I was just thinking about him recently; but did not know how to get in touch with him. He was a great employee and a genuinely nice person for whom I had great respect.

  9. Herbert Williams was a valued part of the community he lived in for many years. His presence made a difference; good neighbors are leaders, and leave significance lasting impressions. He may be gone but his humanity, kindness, generosity and spirit will remain in the neighborhood he help shape. Wishing him peace through our loss, is knowing our neighbor’s soul is at rest and surrounded by love, respect, grace, and pleasant memories. Our heart goes out to his Family with our deepest sympathies at this difficult time.

  11. My condolences to the Williams family. I worked with Mr. Williams during his time at Lexington County Health Department. Mr. Williams gloaded on his family and shared many wonderful stories about everyone. Mr. Williams was among a dying breed of true gentlemen and was the same everyday. He was a good listener and gave great advice. My prayers are with the family that God will keep and hold all of you during this time.
