We were saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Johnson. Please accept our heartfelt condolences. It was indeed a pleasure having him as part of our annual golf tournament. You all are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

“IT TAKES A VILLAGE TO RAISE A CHILD.” A proverb with West African origins emphasizing that a child’s safe and healthy development requires the active participation of a whole community. Thanks Mr. Johnson or “Mr. John” (as some of us Carnaby Court kids called you)…Thanks for being such an integral part of our Village. I think the last time a saw you was last year at “Ms Vera’s” 90th birthday celebration. We all sat at the same table and had such a wonderful time laughing and reconnecting with folks. Mr. John was the last surviving patriarch of the original 9 families that made up our “Carnaby Court Village” and just like all of the others gone on before us, he will be truly missed. Deepest condolences to all of the Johnson family especially the children and grandchildren. Please know that we are here for you if you need us. Rest well, “Mr. John” Rest well.🙏🏽

God had a plan when he directed me to bring man dad Edward (Kush) to the Johnson Family reunion in North Carolina to meet his/our family. What a blessing it was. Dad’s now in heaven and is joined by his brother John. We pray for grace and mercy for all of us remaining on this Earth. RIP Uncle Bubba

I worked with Mr. John at the Ben Arnold Co. for many years. Although we worked in different departments, when I would see him, he always had a smile on his face and a kind word. God Bless!
