  8. Sending Sincere Condolences to the Entire Abney Family. May Our God give Love, Understanding, and Strength during this difficult time. Have Known Chester since elementary school, he was a Great Homeboy, friendly, easy to get along with. We played lots of basketball in the schoolyard, plus his Dad was a long time teacher there, ( Roosevelt Village Elementary) A lot of the teachers lived close by, everybody knew everybody and got along very well, those were The Good Old Days. Chester will be Dearly Miss. God Bless πŸ™πŸ™

  9. We offer our heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the family of Jonathan Abney (Winchester as we knew him) πŸ™πŸΏ. He was one of the younger brothers in the neighborhood as well as one of his good friends, Steve Pindar. All the guys, no matter the difference between us in age, we all were close comrades.
May your family continue to be richly blessed.

    The Pindar brothers,
    Robert and George

  10. Dearest Iris & the girls:

As you prepare for the eulogistic services on Saturday, know that those who knew Jonathan as a kind and friendly gentle
person ,always with that broad smile, will miss his presence from our midst.
I certainly missed him from church service during his absence.

As this period of bereavement is upon you and the family, know that your church family will continue to pray your strength in the Lord, as the loving God that He is all the time.

May the life and many memories that you shared with Jonathan serve to sustain you now and as time moves beyond this period.

Thinking of the family with love and care at a time like this.

  11. Prayers and love out to the family. And while none of us can truly understand how a loss like this affects someone else, we do know what we may have felt at a time like this is our lives. No words can truly measure or assuage the pain and hurt, or the emptiness we feel over the person we will truly and sorely miss.
‘Remember that just as God can preserve us alive, we too can in a sense continue to keep the memories of our loved ones β€˜alive’, because as long we remember them with love and stories, they will never really be forgotten. By sharing fond stories and memories of our loved ones, they will always live on in our memories, as we await for the time when they will actually live on forever beside us.’

  15. Iris, Michelle and Jessica, my family, and I were sad to hear of Chesterβ€˜s passing, but we rejoice in knowing that he had a friend named Jesus who welcomed him home. You and the girls have that same friend who will wash your tears away so when you feel sad and just call him up and tell him what you need and he will provide it.. We love you because we are family..
