I met Kenneth while attending Bike Week in Atlantic Beach SC. We both used RVs to camp and enjoy the event. We made it a yearly trek to reunite and enjoy the comrade during the event along with other campers. As members of our partied grew, we moved to houses for the event. We shared food, assisted each other with any problems and the friendship was genuine and true. When my son and nephews began attending, Kenny was quick to advise them on school, jobs, and becoming sucessful in a mentoring fashion. He treated them as though they were his own family with the advice. I spoke to him a few weeks earlier and we were both looking forward to meeting up again with the others. I received the devastating news from Cameran and was speechless. He will be greatly missed by all of us. Im glad he had an opportunity to touch the lives of my son and nephews with his wisdom and advice.
Kenny was a valued community partner to Midlands Fatherhood Coalition during his time with Woodforest Bank, and later continued his commitment to our mission as a member of our Board of Directors. Throughout the years, Kenny consistently demonstrated a genuine passion for supporting families and strengthening our community. His leadership and support while at Optus Bank made a lasting impact on our organization, and we remain grateful for his guidance and advocacy.
Beyond his professional contributions, Kenny will be remembered for his kindness, wisdom, and willingness to help others. His presence and partnership meant a great deal to all of us.
We are thinking of and praying for Kenny’s family during this difficult time.
I met Kenny in the mid 90’s working together at Eckerd’s downtown. I believe we were drawn together initially because I shared his sister’s name, but we quickly became friends due to his warm and welcoming nature. Kenny loved to remind me of how amazing and special his sister Shannon was to him. He would also light up whenever I asked about his children and he loved to share all the amazing things they were doing in school and in life. I am thankful for our time together and friendship that spanned nearly 30 years. You will be missed my friend. Love you.
I worked with Kenny for about a year, and in that time, we shared so many laughs. We instantly connected, as we had both lived out on the west coast, but were southerners at heart. Even though he was technically my boss, he was always quick to let people know that I did not work FOR him, but WITH him, and that we were partners. He was also always the first one to tell me to leave early on a Friday afternoon, a real top notch guy that way. I will be praying for his family, friends, and loved ones.
Mr. Kenneth Robinson will truly be missed. He had a vibrant personality and such a genuine spirit to help others. Our thoughts and prayers will be with his family for peace and comfort in the days and weeks ahead.
