To the Goodwin and Hopkins family, Leon was know as Simp to me when growing up in Edisto Court. He spent a significant amount of time mentoring me during my teenage years, regarding sports etc. We kept in touch, mainly by phone over the latter years. I’m going to miss him. Thanks for all the years as a good friend, no more sickness. Rest in peace my brother.
