  19. My sincere condolences to Mother Ellen the children, grandchildren and Mother Janie Jackson and the entire families. It saddened my heart when I heard the passing of deacon Lumpkin. I had the opportunity to work with deac for 10 years at the Bible Way of Atlas Road Day Care Center. A very respectful and kind guy. Singing and whistling through the hall ways. Deaco Lumpkin and I
would often talk about ttheir church choir and our church choir (Bible Way on Piedmont Ave). He would ask me how can yall sing like a 100 voice choir with 10/15 members?? We would just laugh and I would say Deac we good like that, and we would just laugh. Deacon Lumpkin will truly be missed. Rest on Deac and I’ll see you in the Rapture. Love yallโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ and my prayers are with you all๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ

We extend our deepest condolences to each of you, and the grandkids โค๏ธ May the Peace and comfort of the Lord Jesus Christ rest upon you all.

First Lady Emeritus of Bibleway Church of Atlas Rd, Mother Jannie Lumpkin Jackson, we pray that God will be your comfort and strength through this difficult season.
We were saddened to hear of the passing of Deacon Lloyd Lumpkin, one of the best baritones that I have ever heard in my life. He fought a good fight, kept the faith and sang his own song, his rendition of , Walking up the King’s Highway. He sung the baseline until the golden gates opened up. He wasn’t afraid to bid us Goodbye, because God needed a Supervisor and only Deacon Lloyd Lumpkin was qualified for the job.
So tell my father that we’re okay, Deacon. I know that he’s parking those chariots up there. Peace be with you all.

  36. Iโ€™m lost for words right now. My heart felt condolences to the Lumpkin and Jackson Family. I had the opportunity of working at the daycare for 18 years,
During time, Deacon Lumpkin was working for the church. Sometimes he would be sitting upfront at the daycare and you can hear him singing old spiritual hymns.
And some good old quartet songs. And you can hear him whistling down the hallway, Rest well Deacon Lumpkin, you will truly be missed. From Deacon Robert & Albertha Spears.
    Of Bible way Piedmont
