  6. Barbara, Sharon and Ashley, my Sister and nieces. My heart goes out to you as you bid “see you later”to my brother “Point.” You all held me tight when your niece, LaSanya, was called Home. My phone conversations with my brother will be missed but I have our last conversation to reflect on. Always caring for others. Sis, the pain you feel is so deep but know it eases with time and the beautiful, silly and precious memories you have of a wonderful man who the Lord blessed you with for over 40 years. The boys and I love you and will always keep you lifted in prayer, in Jesus name. Love you Sis from Joyce Brown-Watkins

  13. My condolences to the The Wise Family. I have know Deacon Maurice Wise for some years. We served together on First John’s Missionary Baptist. The missionary’s visited various nursing homes around the Columbia area, and we would go out to eat. Very humble individual, who does not mind lending a helping hand. You will be missed.

  25. To my sister in law and nieces. My heart and prayers are with you all in your time of mourning. I was truly blessed by God to have a wonderful brother in law. Barbara Jean, Sharon and Ashley, we will all miss your loved one. My heart sunk when I heard about our loved one going on with the Lord. I sat down with tears in my eyes. God always takes His best home first. Sarge ran the race and fought a good fight. He definitely did what God required for him to do. He was God’s good and faithful servant. Sister in law, be encouraged in the Lord; knowing that you will see Maurice again. God is with you in the mourning of your husband. To my nieces, know that with God, the love you have shown your dad lives forever in your heart. Matthew 5:4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. My love, hugs, sympathy and prayers are for you all. Sarge was an amazing man of God and Sister in law, I always wanted a marriage like yours. He truly loved you and my nieces. He took care of you all and was a true blessing to everyone he came in contact with. He is with the Lord now. Sarge, we will always love and miss you. You will never be forgotten. Barbara Jean and my nieces, I love you all. This test is your storm. It won’t be long. Go through, hold on.
