  9. I am truly sorry to hear of the passing of Monroe. I meet Monroe through work with the USPS via phone at first. Anytime I had to travel to Columbia from Cheraw for training I made it my business to stop by the TACS office. Monroe was always helpful. I will miss my Facebook buddy making comments on my page. I will definitely miss him saying Hey Namesake!

My prayers go out to his family and friends!

  16. To the family – know that Monroe is a true Arm Bearer in some many ways: In his service to his Family, in service to the U S Army and his service to the Trinity Baptist as a Trustee. God has called him now to be an Arm Bearer in His Army in Heaven. We will see you on the other side. May God continue to bless this family.

  17. My deepest condolences to the Williams family. My friend and I worked in the TACS office at the USPS for years until Monroe retired. Monroe was a very respectful and kind man that would help anybody. He loved his family dearly because he talked about his children and family, his time serving in the military and service in the church always with a smile on his face. Monroe gave me the name “Gee” which co- workers still call me. I spoke to him about 3 weeks before his passing and it was a joy, not knowing this would be my last time. Take your rest my brother. I loved you and will miss you dearly.

  26. My sympathy is with all of the Williams family. Monroe and I were in the TACS Office together and it was a pleasure to be in his company everyday. He was very dedicated to his job and a friend to all that he came in contact with. I’ll always remember the time I brought banana pudding for the office staff. When he finished eating he came im my office and said “Nancy you put your foot in that dish” I was thinking he didn’t like it but he told me that meant it was very good. Dear Monroe you RIP you were a true blessing.
