  1. My sincere prayers and condolences to the Housey family. Over the three years I worked alongside Nate at the Navy Yard, I came to know him as a hard worker and helpful resource to me. He was a man of great character and his gruff optimism will be something I’ll miss.

    Rest in peace, Nate.

  2. My condolences and prayers to the Housey family. Nate was not only a great colleague but a friend and a fellow Brooklynite. We had some great talks reminiscing about the old neighborhood. He will certainly be missed.

  3. You may be gone from this world we see,
But your legacy lives on faithfully.
In a grandson who carries your name with pride,
Your strength, your love, walk right by his side.

Through him, your story continues to grow,
In who he’ll become and all he’ll know.
    Forever remembered, forever the same,
Living on through love, and a shared name.

  7. So many thoughts for someone so smart.
It is difficult to produce the right words to say,
for such a dear friend and co-worker has gone away.
Many people use the old cliché, “your loved one is in a better place” for he has finished his race.
In fact, it does not relieve the pain, but we all know, in time, our almighty, merciful Father above, will soon cease the rain.
Nathan will be missed; his sense of humor, infectious laughter, and talent for offering practical advice and ideas to his teammates always brightened our days. We lift our prayers to the Housey family and friends; may God be with you during this challenging time.

My brother will truly be missed One thing that I know is that he loved his kids as Jesus loves us unconditionally his kids was everything to him they were his rock they were his foundation they were and he will proud of them. I will miss my brother The last time I spoke with him was on December the 9th not knowing that that would be my last time that I would ever speak with him but I’m so proud of his children and more than anything I’m more proud of Michael for caring his legacy

  12. I was deeply saddened to hear about Nate’s passing. He wasn’t just a knowledgeable and a talented colleague; he was a truly wonderful person. Nate had a gift for using humor to ease the stress of the workday, and he was always willing to offer a helping hand when the team’s workload got heavy. While the whole office will miss his presence, I will personally miss our chats and the friendship we shared. My heart goes out to his family and friends during this difficult time.
