  4. Flash and I worked together at UPS in Columbia and Sumter, where I was the Center Manager. Flash was a man that always had a smile to greet you. A hard worker who required little or no supervision. We were both Vietnam Veterans and Comrades at the VFW Post 4262. A giant of a man and friend who was always dedicated and loyal to others, he will truly be missed. Audrey, you and the kids lost more than a man, he was everything to your family. Keep the Faith and be Strong. This is a big loss to all of us. God Bless

Oliver you will surely be missed by me and many others. You sat the standard for giving back and advocating that all veterans deserve the benefits promised for defending our country in war time. Your old buddy and classmate from the good old days. You did your Best !! See you on the other side. Rest In Peace my Brother !!!

  18. Oliver, rest in peace and may your family find peace in knowing, others care.

Oliver and I were church members years ago at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Hampton SC. The memories I share with him is his father, Dea. Berry Smith, sister Neicy Smith and brother Wilbur Smith along with other relatives. We all were a close-knit family who all got along very well with each other.

The last time I spoke with he and his wife were at a function at Mt. Olive and we so enjoyed ourselves. Oliver, rest now, your work here is done.
