  21. Rest, my friend…
Fuzzy, I remember the day I met you like it was yesterday. We were just thirteen years old, brought together through my mom and your father. Your grandmother—sweet an amazing woman, and I miss her just as I miss you now.
We’ve been through a lifetime together… selling cars, working at Budweiser, insurance jobs—everything. Through all the changes life brought, you stayed the same solid, loyal, genuine person from the very first day I met you. Forty-something years of friendship, and you never changed.
I still think about our last conversation at the postal service. You told me about that incident downtown… and how, by the grace of God, you made it through. That same God who kept you then has you now. I know one day, you’ll see you again.
I’m praying for your family, your children, and everyone who loves you.
Rest, my best friend. Rest in peace.

  22. Proverbs 3:5-6 says we are to trust in the Lord with all our heart; and lean not unto our own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct my paths.
I am sending up much prayer for Reginald’s massive circle of loved ones and asking God to provide understanding and peace as the days go by. Reginald was an amazing soldier who fought a great fight. I had great respect for this man all throughout our time as classmates at Eau Claire High School, and as we would meet for breakfast monthly with the guys. To God be the Glory, and I am glad He allowed our paths to cross.

  29. The Garvin Family,

I am deeply sorry for your loss. In this difficult time, I hope you find comfort in the love and memories you shared with your beloved. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

In moments of sorrow, I am reminded of the beautiful promise found in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 (NIV): “Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.”

May this promise bring you peace and hope, knowing that one day you will be reunited.

    With heartfelt condolences,

    The Gray Family
