  6. To all who knew and loved my brother,

It is with the deepest sorrow that I share the loss of my beloved brother โ€” my other half, my mirror, my twin in every way that truly mattered. We were often called twins because of how much we looked alike, but our bond went far beyond resemblance. We shared a connection that was constant, unspoken, and enduring.

He was not only my brother, but my lifelong friend, my protector, and a piece of my heart that I will carry with me always. We built memories that shaped who I am. His laughter, his strength, and his presence brought comfort and light into my life in ways that words can hardly capture.

Losing him leaves a space that can never be filled. Yet I am profoundly grateful for every moment we shared and for the love that will forever bind us. He will live on in my heart, in my memories, and in the reflection I still see when I look in the mirror.

I ask that you keep our family in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate this immeasurable loss.

With love and remembrance, your sister Cookie

  18. My deepest. Condolences to the family of Robert Myers. I used to come to his barber shop and he would cut the hair of me and my sons! Very funny indeed, but Rob knew the Lord! We would gather on serious matters and discussions as well. He was a man that cared for people in his own special way! We drifted apart for awhile, but when we would meet, it was as though the relationship was fresh. Im going to miss you โ€œChicโ€, my brother. Rest well as you have gained your wings from here! Thank you Heavenly Father for someone who poured in my life! Shalom

  21. Mr. Robert was a very nice and very funny guy. He would always come by, sit and talk with me in the office at Oak Terrace. We are very sad to hear about his death. Our prayers are with the family at the difficult time. To Shea I never knew a father’s love until I heard how he would talk about you. You now have a guardian angel that I know will always watch over you. I’m praying for your strength and understanding during this time also. RIP Mr. Robert

He was a very popular individual, and as children we enjoyed a lot of good times with the Myerโ€™s family on Wheeler Hill. Please know that the Smalls and Lakin family are thinking of you and your family during this difficult time. I hope you find comfort in the memories you shared and in the support of those around you. Wishing you strength and peace in the days ahead. We will keep the family in our prayers.

  26. My deepest condolescences to the family. Robert’s son John and I were coworkers at the Department of Juvenile Justice. Robert and I were classmates, at Florence C. Benson Elementary School and also Booker T. Washington High School. He and I shared the same Passion (Basketball) . Better known as Chicken to most, I always called him Robert. He played ball with my son’s father, Maurice Kitt and my friends Gerald and Donovan Epps. What a team. Robert always had a smile on his face every time I saw him. He will be missed by many and especially his family. GOD always pick special ones from his GARDEN. We all are special in GOD’S sight. Go on Robert, the roll has been called, and you can sign your name. Robert Lee Myers. HALLELUJAH
