Uncle Sim- Thank you for allowing me to be molded and loved as a second daughter in your home through so many summers. Those days were a gift, and the lessons I learned from your quiet strength, gentle spirit, and steady example have stayed with me throughout my life.
Angela, Robert and Darryl – I love you and know that I grieve with you. I will always cherish the times with Uncle Sim, Aunt Elease, and the Heller kids who added a lot more excitement; adventures, and fun to each summer day.
Rest easy, Uncle Sim. And every Veterans Day, I’ll think of you with gratitude and send a special Happy Veterans Day message to heaven.
