I hadn’t to long got out the Marine Corps in 1977 , And in and out The VA Hospital, And going to Midlands Tech. , Waiting on those VA Ed Chks , I’d catch the SCE&G Bus to Mista Brown’s Fish Market on N Main on Sat. and get The 3 Piece Special ( And Mr Brown would crack in his Jovial way “ Maaannn !, You Look Hungry !!! ) And he’d ease around to the Friers and drop 8 pieces of Fish !!! He helped ina lotta way’s going to that Store , Get your well earned Rest My Brother, A true Saint !!!

Mr. Brown played a gospel 45 record on a piccalo he had in his place of business. I was just amazed when he said that was him singing. To the family- please accept our heartfelt sympathy in this difficult time.

My condolences to the brown family I can remember every Friday my aunt woul say let’s go and get the ten piece fish from Mr. Brown and it was a lilady in their could fry that fish so good I would go to the car eatting my fish sandwich and he had a beautiful wife that would be sitting in their but sometimes she would help out and her daughter your father have did his best now you can surely get your rest my God bless the family🙏🏿🙏🏿my deepest sympathy
Mr.Brown was a Very Very friendly 👏 man I attended School all of his lovely Children they were my Neighborhood friendsI Loved Mr.Brown and his beautiful Wife Mrs.Brown the one of the Sweetest Ladies in the World Now they will be Reunited In ❤️ 💙 In Heaven to together fly high Great Man Mr.Brown you’re daughter Rochelle Sumter took absolutely 💯 Care of you she Loved her 💙 Daddy Rest In Heavenly Peace.
To the man that taught me at home sometimes u need to be a pussy cat, but in the streets always a mountain lion. Consider yourself blessed if you was fortunate to experience any part of his life. RIP
Mr. Brown was one of the nicest persons you would have ever met. A true soldier gone home.
My sincere condolences are extended to the entire Brown family. The years we spent together coaching Little league baseball and mentoring the kids at Greenview Park are memorable. T. D. was all about us, as coaches, setting good examples for the kids to model after. He didn’t mind letting the coaches know when he felt they were not doing the right thing.

He and Wife and Family truly Blessed the Community and our families out of town too was Blessed. Words can not express the Love and Appreciation to the Brown Family. Dad would just stop by the Market and keep you and Wife company and became Longtime Friends.

Sending Sincere Condolences to the Entire Brown Family. May Our God give Love, Understanding, and Strength during this difficult time. Have Known Mr. Brown for 50 plus years, First met him when he was selling fish on North Main across the street from the V.F.W. He was always very nice, positive talk, we had alot in common, Gospel Music, Sports, N “FISH” We also worked together doing security at U.S.C. Football Games!!! Now that was lots of fun, we enjoyed each other sharing conversations about sports, and of course the man could sing. Gonna Miss My Friend, Get Your Rest Mr. Brown (T.D.) God Bless 🙏
