I find myself here daily!!! I MISS YOU SO MUCH!!!
YOU WERE THE GLUE!!!
It’s so hard to get in my car daily without looking under the tree to say ” Daddy come on!!!” I hope the angels know what they have!!! U were all I had in this life…n I can feel it even more that you are gone. Thank you for ur wise words I’ll carry with me the rest of my life…This dirt road don’t feel the same anymore… A familiar face hasn’t traveled it since you left! Family maybe all most have, but all I eva had was YOU and my kids. Its so hard waking up in the realm that no longer includes you!!!
I send this condolence on behalf of your cousin Kenny, a patient at Lexington Medical Center. He expressed how happy he was see him before his passing. He said “Porterfield was a strong good man”. Family Be Blessed!
You have our sympathy from the Clybourn family

I know what you want me to do and I will get it done. I will miss you forever and my 21st birthday in 2 months we were so excited ( by us I mean me 🤣🤣) you instilled so much strength and love into me I will cherish it forever and ever 😘🩷 I wish we had more time but I thank GOD for the time that we did have … I just hate it’ll be so long until I see or hear you again… that’s what I gotta learn to live with. To the Porterfield family very sorry to hear the passing of your love one . My deepest condolences and prayers for you. I have been knowing him for a long time he spent a lot of time sitting on the porch with my father for many years. They became friends every since I was a child. He continued to be a friend even after my father pass. When ever I seen him he was still the same talking and smiling. Will always remember him. Family my prayers will continually be with you. God’s love
Granddaddy Willie,
Job well done, thy good and faithful servant. ❤️
I have so much I could say, but most of all, I want to thank you for the love you showed all of us. You were a true man—not loud or boastful, but always true to who you were. If you said you were going to do something, it got done. Your word meant something.
You were a man with a plan, a man who lived with peace and purpose. I can only hope to be half the person you were during the 93 blessed years God gave you on this earth.
I will forever cherish our talks, your wisdom, and the memories we shared. Thank you for being an example of strength, integrity, and unconditional love.
I love you, Granddaddy. This thing called death may separate us for a little while, but it cannot erase the love you’ve left in our hearts. Until we meet again, rest peacefully in the arms of the Lord. Your legacy will live on through all of us.
Willie Lee, my oldest maternal first cousin. We’ve always enjoyed visiting with him when we come home. He is now taking his rest. He will never be forgotten.
Our deepest sympathy and condolences and prayers to the family.
