  1. To David and Famliy, sending my condolences for the passing of my beloved Cousin Betty Jean. So many memories, our fathers were twin brothers. Paul and Silas. Also, visiting you all at Uncle Silas and Aunt Luvenia’s home when I would visit Columbia. Precious memories. Love you all and missing all of my family. ~ Paulette Wages

  4. After many years since our last contact, I thought
of Jean and her lifelong friend Virginia Bush Westray (my former sister- in-law). I was stunned to see Jean’s funeral services video.

I am truly sorry for the loss of such a lovely woman. A woman who carried herself with dignity and grace.

My sincere condolences to the Wages and Corbett families for the loss of such a wonderful treasure. May God give you comfort and peace in the darkness of your grief.
    Sincerely,
    Gwen Neal Blakeney

I consider Jean a friend. I hope you will be able to find comfort
knowing that my thoughts are with you, your children, those
precious grandchildren and the entire family. Your loss is
deeply felt. Lamentations 3:32 states, “Though He brings grief,
He will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love.”
